The Woodridge Public Library offers different types of storytimes for different ages. This way, the sessions can be tailored to the needs, interests, and abilities of the children and caregivers can meet with others who have children of the same age.
All storytime sessions can be found on our calendar. Some sessions require registration.
Baby Lapsit: 0 - 24 Months
Storytime designed for babies 0-24 months and their care. Simple stories, songs, fingerplays, and movement activities followed by fifteen minutes of social time.
Toddler Time: 2 - 3 Years
Toddler Time is filled with exciting interactive play, music, and stories for your preschool child. Kids are encouraged to attend independently; they will have a great time while learning social skills.
Preschool Storytime: 3 - 5 Years
Exciting interactive play, music, and stories for your preschool child. Kids are encouraged to attend independently; they will have a great time while learning social skills.
Family Storytime & Craft: 0 - 5 Years
You'll be sure to have fun at our evening storytime. Each month will feature a new theme, stories, songs, and a craft. Aimed at ages 0-5 years.
