New! Library Cards for Woodridge 68 Students
We’re excited to announce our new Student Library Card partnership with Woodridge 68.
Library cards open up a world of learning and entertainment!
Students enrolled in Woodridge 68 and in this program will have a library card that gives them access to a treasure trove of free physical and digital books, magazines, and e-resources to use at school or at home.
Under this partnership, library cards are available to students in District 68 through a streamlined process. During Woodridge 68’s registration, parents can opt-in to the Student Card program allowing Woodridge Public Library to issue their student a library card or to help connect parents to their hometown library to obtain a card for their child.
We share a love of reading and we value a student’s ability to read all year round—in the classroom, at home, during the school year, and over the summer!
Building a community of readers, this collaboration between Woodridge 68 and the Woodridge Public Library continues a tradition of cooperation between our organizations that encourages strong reading habits, supports students’ success in school, and encourages a lifetime of learning.
As we launch the Student Library Card program, approximately 1600 Woodridge 68 students will renew or receive a new public library card which will soon be mailed to students.
