Welcome to a place where job seekers and job movers come together to encourage, cajole and support each other’s job search.

Drop in this summer and meet other parents and caregivers for an hour of playtime and socializing.  Toys and books will be available in our Program Room for you and your children, under the age of 2,  to enjoy.

Adults and children will participate in hands-on preliteracy activity stations geared toward exploration and sensory play.  Activities are appropriate for children ages 3-5.  All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

What exactly is coding?  Coding is what makes it possible for us to create software, apps and websites.  Learning about code helps you understand the technology shaping our world, develops problem-solving skills, and encourages creativit

Bring your own lunch!  Preschoolers may attend with an adult.  This week we will be showing WALL-E:  After hundreds of lonely years, a waste management robot finds a new purpose in life.

Celebrate the end of our summer reading programs with delicious ice cream! Get a treat, submit your final reading entries and pick up any prizes you might have won.

Voter Registration: representatives from SSIP will be registering eligible voters in the lobby.

We'll organize card games (and by request, games like Yahtzee or Bunco) for seniors, and those on their way to becoming a senior!

For children entering 1st and 2nd grade, this program will include dramatic activities that are more appropriate for early readers.

Stories, fun sheets, crafts, music and more, each week there will be something new to explore!  For children entering grades 1 - 3.  This week's theme:  Build a Better Building!

Do you need to practice your reading, especially out loud?  Sign up to read to a therapy dog!  Trained therapy dogs and their handlers will meet one-on-one with children who have reading difficulties for a 15-minute session.

Join us for some Reader's Theater, where the performers read their lines -- no memorization or experience needed!  Each week, we'll read through and select stories to use, make some simple props, and practice our production.

For our Spanish speaking families, this Spanish story program is for preschool children through 9 years of age, and will consist of stories, fingerplays, and songs. A parent or caregiver must attend the program with children under 3.

Learn how to use a master slide, custom themes and layouts; animations and transitions; and how to create a photo album. 

Prerequisite: Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint is required.

Cook with your own homegrown vegetables and herbs. Gardening expert Nina Koziol will walk you through the planning, planting, harvesting and use of herbs.

After a long day of summer fun, relax with a family sing-along!  For children 2 - 6 years old. (2-years olds must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver) 

Join us for this family presentation, where you can enjoy the performances of our amateur actors.  A guaranteed great time for everyone!  Registration is not required.
