Welcome to a place where job seekers and job movers come together to encourage, cajole and support each other’s job search.

Toddlers and adults will participate in hands-on preliteracy activity stations geared toward exploration and sensory play.  Activities are appropriate for children ages 18 months - 3 years.

The Chicago Fire, in partnership with the Woodridge Public Library, is offering two FREE soccer clinics this summer!

The Mousetrap Machine Show combines Science, Math and Art to teach students about how five simple machines work.

For children entering 1st and 2nd grade, this program will include dramatic activities that are more appropriate for early readers.

Stories, fun sheets, crafts, music and more, each week there will be something new to explore!  For children entering grades 1 - 3.  This week's theme:  Build a Better Garden!

Do you need to practice your reading, especially out loud?  Sign up to read to a therapy dog!  Trained therapy dogs and their handlers will meet one-on-one with children who have reading difficulties for a 15-minute session.

Join us for some Reader's Theater, where the performers read their lines -- no memorization or experience needed!  Each week, we'll read through and select stories to use, make some simple props, and practice our production.

For our Spanish speaking families, this Spanish story program is for preschool children through 9 years of age, and will consist of stories, fingerplays, and songs. A parent or caregiver must attend the program with children under 3.

Learn how to create and run a basic slide show with text and graphics.

Prerequisite: Experience with the mouse/keyboard and Microsoft Windows.

Talk about the books you've read this summer, your favorite characters or even the digital reading badges or prizes you've earned. Pizza served!
