Toddlers and adults will participate in hands-on preliteracy activity stations geared toward exploration and sensory play. Activities are appropriate for children ages 18 months - 3 years.

Copies of the books will be available four weeks in advance at the Adult & Teen Services Reference Desk.
For children entering 1st and 2nd grade, this program will include dramatic activities that are more appropriate for early readers.
Join us for some Reader's Theater, where the performers read their lines -- no memorization or experience needed! Each week, we'll read through and select stories to use, make some simple props, and practice our production.
For our Spanish speaking families, this Spanish story program is for preschool children through 9 years of age, and will consist of stories, fingerplays, and songs. A parent or caregiver must attend the program with children under 3.
