Renowned storyteller Shanta Nurullah will present a spoken word performance, highlighting times of social change, and the role of African American artists, musicians, and leaders. Shanta has performed across the U.S. and abroad and has received numerous honors and awards, earning the Zora Neale Hurston Award - the highest honor given by the National Association of Black Storytellers.
Adults and teens will enjoy this program, with an opportunity to "chat," with the presenter following the presentation. Shanta welcomes families with school-age children as well.
