Program Description
Event Details
It is so easy to join the native plant movement! Gardeners around the world and in our own neighborhoods are embracing native plants, as a means to restore plant habitats and to provide birds and other animals a landscape that will sustain them.
Many home gardeners would like to add native plants to their garden, but are unsure how to start or what plants will be most successful. Presented by a Master Gardener from the University of Illinois Extension department, this program takes a look at native plants that are low maintenance and grow in a wide range of conditions. Native grasses, wildflowers, trees and shrubs will be highlighted.
Thursday, April 15, 7 p.m. This is a free virtual program using Zoom.
