Event Details

FOR GRADES 4 - 6.

An open-ended building activity using simple materials such as colored craft sticks, Legos, and small plastic cups.  This STEM activity encourages critical thinking, engineering skills, cooperation, and creativity.  Simple materials, yet we will have a blast building all kinds of amazing structures with them!  Adults must accompany children 7 and under.  

Challenge #1:  Build a structure with 1 Lego as the base.  Yes, just on cube.  Challenge #2:  Using any size base, build the tallest structure.  Challenge #3:  Feat of balance.  Challenge #4:  What can you build with just one cup as the base?  Challenge #5:  Make something stick out in an impressive way.  Bonus challenge:  Build a chain reaction.
