Event Details

On the afternoon of Monday, August 21 a unique opportunity to view a partial solar eclipse will occur throughout North America and the Woodridge Public Library will be watching!

Stop by the library on August 21 and you find the NASA live-stream of the global total solar eclipse playing in the lobby. 

We will also have a limited number of solar eclipse viewing glasses* available for patrons to borrow between 11: 50 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., so that they may step outside  for a few minutes and observe the partial solar eclipse event that is happening in our area.
