“Nature in Winter” Nature Photo Contest
When winter descends upon the Northern Hemisphere, nature puts on a spectacular show for anyone willing to brave the cold. Though the days are short, they are still filled with natural wonder. The stillness of the frozen air, glimmering ice crystals, the silhouette of tree branches covered with snow, and the quick flash of a songbird at a backyard feeder give this season its own natural beauty. We encourage everyone to bundle up, grab your camera and venture outside!
Select up to 5 of your BEST nature photos taken this winter and email them to:

Submissions will be taken between February 1-14, 2022
Winners will be notified the week of February 22nd. All photos submitted will be shared online through Woodridge Public Library’s Flickr account. Winning photos will be featured on the Library’s website and winners will receive Amazon gift cards!
Guidelines:
- The person submitting the photo must be at least 12 years of age
- Entries must be the work of the person submitting the photo
- A maximum of five photos may be submitted per person
- Submissions must be made between February 1-14, 2022
Terms & Conditions
By submitting a photo, you agree that the Woodridge Public Library can use your photo for the marketing and promotion of the “Nature in Winter” Photo Contest. You agree that you have read and will abide by the guidelines above. You also agree that you will allow the Library to share your photo through its social media pages, website, newsletter, and other marketing means in relation to the contest. You agree that your photo may be used by the Library with no royalties, payments, or demands.
