The Woodridge Public Library is turning 50! To celebrate we are inviting PAST AND PRESENT community members, patrons, staff members, board members, Friends of the Library and other supporters to join us in recognizing this important milestone. We will hold a party from noon to 3 p.m., with plans for burying a time capsule, planting a tree and, of course, enjoying a slice of cake.
Noon: Greetings, Tree Planting and Time Capsule Ceremony
1 p.m.: Enjoy a slice of cake with tea or coffee at the Library's Birthday party. Watch a live, interactive demonstration of various cake decorating techniques by a local baker.
2 p.m.: Live Music with Chris Colletti singing tunes from musical legends for adults AND a Magic Show for kids
Throughout the afternoon: crafty activities for kids on the 2nd floor; and Woodridge Public Library history on the 1st Floor.
