Event Details

12-1 p.m. Presentation: Discover the benefits of native plants and the pollinators they attract! Learn which plants thrive in our local landscapes while exploring ways to conserve water, improve soil health, and create a habitat for butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Presented by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. 

12-2 p.m. Visit informational tables on composting, rain barrels, and other sustainable gardening practices. Experts will be available to answer your questions and provide tips for cultivating an eco-friendly yard.

Bonus: All attendees will be entered into a prize drawing for a rain barrel!
