This Chicago native creates enchanting new age finger-style instrumentals to percussively driven solo acoustic guitar folk/rock songs utilizing percussive rhythms, harmonics, and tapping with a piano-like approach that is both musically and visually stimulating. Although Jim and has gained much interest for his unusual percussive playing style, he considers himself a songwriter first, a guitarist second.
