Event Details

Work on hand warmers with us! You can register for a Take & Make kit or use your own supplies. We love seeing your completed projects so if you've already made your hand warmer and want to show it off, join in! We'll be able to give help, too.

If you'd like to make a hand warmer with your own supplies (or make another one), here's what you need:

  • Felt, wool, flannel, or cotton fabric. Synthetic fabrics can melt in the microwave so it's best to use natural fibers like cotton. 
  • Thread. We use embroidery floss but pearl cotton would work, too.
  • Sewing needle with an eye big enough for your thread and a sharp point.
  • Scissors
  • White rice
