This program is interactive! When you register, each week you will get a video (created by us) link and a packet of learning materials with supplies for fine motor skills activities. Additionally, each video’s description will have links to online songs or activities for more fun and practice. Every week, pick up a new Building Blocks packet in the Children’s department and choose a book off the Building Blocks for Tots weekly book cart, or ask for curbside pickup and we’ll get a packet and book ready for you. Please note: packets will not start to be ready for you until the first Monday after you register. We will send you a confirmation email with details.
If you would like a book via curbside please indicate so in the comments section with your library card number while you are registering.
Building Blocks for Tots is a unique program created by the Woodridge Library Children’s Department that promotes school readiness for children ages 3 through 5. Building Blocks will enhance cognitive, social, and emotional development while providing a learning environment that supports children's growth in many areas such as language, literacy, and social and emotional development.
