Building Open with COVID-19 Safety Measures

We continue to follow the mitigation measures mandated by the State of Illinois for our region. The library building remains open with COVID-19 safety measures in place. Anyone entering the building must wear a mask, including those who've been vaccinated, and follow social distancing guidelines.
COVID-19 is highly contagious. If you feel sick, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have a known exposure, or suspect you have been exposed, do not enter the library.
Available Services 
  • Browsing the collection, checking out & picking up holds
  • Wi-Fi & printing/copying/faxing/scanning
  • Limited computers with 2-hour time limit; no reservations
  • Book Sale
  • Limited tables & seating: extended visits are not possible
  • Book Returns open
  • Limited donations accepted, following Friends of the Library guidelines
Unavailable Services due to COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
  • Meeting and study rooms are not available
  • In-person library programs are not being held
  • Limited children’s activities: toys, puzzles & learning kits removed
COVID-19 Precautions
Everyone entering the building must wear a mask and follow basic COVID-19 protocols, including social distancing. We are following evolving CDC cleaning and disinfection recommendations; returned items are no longer being held in quarantine before being checked in.  Anyone needing testing information may contact the DuPage Health Department at 630-682-7400 or at COVID-19 Testing.
