Reserving MaterialsAll circulating material owned by the Woodridge Public Library may be reserved. Material owned by other Metropolitan Library System libraries in the SWAN Consortia may also be reserved subject to local policies. To place a reserve request, choose one of the following: In the LibraryChoose My Account in the SWAN Online Catalog and log in to your account. Search for the desired item. If the item is not owned at Woodridge or is checked out, you may reserve the item by clicking the Request button on the catalog page. When the item becomes available, you will be notified. Materials are held for seven (7) days at the Circulation Desk. From HomeYou may access the SWAN catalog at home to search for and request items. Choose My Account in the catalog and log in to your account. Search for the desired title. If the item shows “ON SHELF” at the Woodridge library, it is better not to place a request. Call the library and ask for either the Adult/Young Adult or Children’s Reference Desk, and ask a staff member to pull the item from the shelf. The item will be held at the Circulation Desk for seven (7) days.
