There is a three day grace period on all overdue items (excluding laptops) after which a 10¢ per day fine is assessed for each day overdue. The maximum fine for materials returned more than a month late is $3. Late fees for laptops are assessed at $5.00 per hour and there is no grace period. Every library within the SWAN system charges a $5 handling fee for each lost or damaged item. Fines may be paid online through the patron's SWAN account using a credit card, or they may be paid by check or cash at the Circulation Desk.
