Summer Reading has begun! We have programs for all ages. Readers can earn prizes just for reading--or being read to or doing activites in the cases of our youngest readers. The Summer Reading Programs run from June 3 - July 27.

Jen Para is the highest ranked woman in this form of martial arts outside of Malaysia. She has traveled to Malaysia for cultural understanding and for training in empty-hand and weapons by high ranking Gayong masters.

Would you like to try your hand at making a quilt square? Sue Murray will show us, step-by-step, how to do this. Bring your own sewing machine and basic supplies like thread and scissors. Sue will provide the fabric. Basic sewing skills are required. Space is limited, so register soon.

Jen Para is a senior instructor of Silat Seni Gayong, a Malaysian martial art. She is the highest ranked women in the art outside of Southeast Asia and holds the title “Sri Kandi.” She is a student in the United States Gayong Federation under Cikgu Sam. She has traveled to Malaysia on several occasions for additional training.
